The same source has returned with new hands-on photos of the upcoming Google Pixel 9 Pro that were released last month. These leaked hands-on photos feature not just the Pixel 9 Pro but also the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL.

We're naming these three high-end slab-style devices that Google is expected to release this year, the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL, in case you were startled to hear that the name of the Pixel 9 Pro XL hasn't been "confirmed."

The Pixel 9 will be the replacement for the Pixel 8, the Pixel 9 Pro XL for the Pixel 8 Pro, and a phone with specs comparable to the XL but smaller than the Pixel 9 will be the Pixel 9 Pro.

The two Pixel 9 prototypes have 16GB of RAM each, although the one displayed below has 12GB. Each user has 128GB of storage. When discussing mass production units, these figures could vary. Screen sizes are generally something that won't change. Pixel 9 s, Pixel 9 pro, and Pixel 9 xL have different dimensions: 6.24", 6.34", and 6.73".

The Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are the same size, but the 9 has significantly bigger bezels, which accounts for the difference in the screen. Three 50 MP cameras are located on the back of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL. Naturally, the Pixel 9 features a primary camera and an ultrawide lens; the other two models each also include a periscope telephoto lens for a 5x optical zoom.

Google's Tensor G4 SoC powers all three devices; the vanilla model does not support UWB, but the Pros do. The new Pixel 9 family design eliminates the edge-to-edge "visor" look for the camera island on the back and makes the frame completely flat, as seen in the leaked photos.
